Setting Up Apple Pay

Apple Pay is easy to use, and almost just as easy to set up. To set up Apple Pay on your iPhone, follow two simple steps:

1Select the Wallet app on your iPhone and follow the instructions to add a new debit card. You can enter your details manually or take a photo of your Q debit card to capture information.

2For official verification, choose “Call Queensborough.” You will automatically be connected to a member of our Mobile Wallet Support Team who will ask you a series of questions to verify your information.

Upon verification, you will receive a letter in the mail from Queensborough as an official statement your debit card is ready to be used digitally.

Comforting Security

Apple Pay uses your Queensborough debit card for transactions only through your digital Wallet app. In your Apple Pay account preferences, you will find a Unique Device Account number associated with your Q debit card. Use this number if a merchant asks you for the last 4 digits of your card.

While the electronic card is safe in your digital wallet, you should contact us at (800) 236-2442 if your physical debit card is ever lost or stolen.

Samsung Pay is easy to use, and almost just as easy to set up. To set up Samsung Pay on your Samsung Galaxy device, follow three simple steps:

1Update your phone to the most recent software to ensure Samsung Pay is compatible with your device.

2Using the Samsung Pay app, take a photo of your Q debit card to store your card in the digital wallet.

3Create a PIN number and store your fingerprint as security to use Samsung Pay for purchases.

Upon verification, you will receive a letter in the mail from Queensborough as an official statement your debit card is ready to be used digitally.

Samsung Pay uses a unique security process to ensure your privacy: transactions are only authorized with your fingerprint used during setup. The app uses a digital identifier instead of your actual Q debit card number, so you never have to worry about your card information being compromised. Samsung Knox technology also encrypts your card info within a separate, secure data vault for an extra level of security.
